Wasn't a bad little show - I played my first 3 games of 2nd edition bolt action with my Japs - ended up 1-1-1 and 4th (out of 6) and as we had tonnes of prizes ended up with a £10 voucher from asylum, a rubicon crusader tank and some warlord barbed wire.

I also bought a bunch of animal warriors from oathsworne minis for use in open combat, and a copy of the new open combat expansion - that covers sword fighting, including swinging from chandeliers and making witty retorts.

James also bought the open combat rules, so am looking forward to giving them a go - even got a theatre board to play in :)

Let me know what you think to open combat. The fella at chill con gave me about a 15 minute pep talk about it and it sounds alright.

I bought the rules from the kickstarter he did last year, it looks great, but haven't had chance to play it yet
