Small introduction games are fun, not had a bad one. The low points keep most of the silly stuff off the table.

Unless you play Eldar.

yup, have a box of marines in the car, with various other bits in there as they don't (yet) have a box of their own, the codex previous to the current one which should be good enough for mucking about with the principles of the game, some dice that hate me and a few other odds and sods.

can discuss how much you know or don't know and run it from there, even simple stuff like one squad each side to start with if you haven't played anything under 8th (its very simple to pick up) or start with a smaller game built around a small patrol force.

thinking is to try and cover how the game works and fudge dice rolls if needed, e.g. you want to get into combat roll the dice but if you keep fluffing we will fiddle it to get in to see how combat works etc, also if a seriously bad turn happens, just restart and keep going - less about "winning" and more about seeing how stuff works.

small games are pretty good for that :)

leaving the office about four, in Doncaster so not too far, should be down before five

He most certainly seems to be,I do believe I’m going use him teamed with the obliteraters next time around for the re-rolls.

Glad to hear someone else has shown up and has 40k. quite a few of us have it. we're on a bit of an Age of Sigmar binge atm but im sure we can all be convinced for games.
