Hi All

If tshop is open is anyone around?
I def fancy some COC, Impetus or Lart.

COC will bring EW Soviets
Impetus if we do 6mm will be 300 points of EAP
Lart I would bring 200 points of Greeks cos last game of the year needs to be painted rather than hairy unwashed unpainted Northmen.

Will stick in the 15 and 6mm stuff and bring Lart, Impetus and DBA.
May get a game, may get to eat pork and chat.

Pork Sarnie was great.
COC game was first outing for my dreaded Germans.

France was invaded but I was surprised to find the Japs were already there waiting for me.

Dale and his guys outmanoeuvred and out played me.
Squads died to the left of me and squads died to the right of me.
Senior officer was charged by to units of screaming mad men so decided to rout off the table, only sensible move of the game.

Really looking forward to getting more games played, EW mini campaign on the horizon.

First time I've manage to get squads deployed for mutual support and it worked very nicely, two squads to technically provide covering fire or at least dilute incoming fire and the mortars helping keep other stuff back.

In theory it should have gone a bit better (one squad using covering fire so shots at the other as they advance tactically are at -1, you don't actually hurt anyone, but take fewer wounds then get close enough for both to assault together).

You needed to get the MG sections working near the rifle sections to split the incoming fire more I think, think Germans also need some support stuff, likely mortar battery or infantry gun to punish stuff like my mortars.

good game though
