this is good, bring a dustpan & brush and you can help me remove the remains of what was once a warband :)

A silver medal!

this is progress....

Anglo-Saxon cavalry certainly change how they play, was much more able to apply pressure, and indeed encircle for an attack on that blasted chariot, nearly got him too. Makes a change from half the army doing nothing while the other half gets shot to ribbons. Just need a bit more practice but etc on the flanks these guys move quickly.

maybe, need to keep the dice count high though. thinking is using them as a counter charge and clean up unit, able to get on the flanks and behind to make it hard to back off, then send in the easily buffed levy units to kill a few and push the enemy back, before letting the cavalry get into the now fatigued enemy unit.

needs a bit of work, trouble is a unit of 4, 6 or 8 can still be rendered ineffective by a bunch of crossbows over a turn or two with a few tricks in a single turn for sure - three units of four makes focussing fire on them actually quite hard
