Stupid game, stupid Picts.

Edit, huzza. My Vikings managed to catch and kill the mounted javelin Hearthguard on turn one which made a massive swing in the game as they would have constantly whittled me down and run away all game.
He got too close on two fatigues.

Game then went on a roller coaster ride right up to my last turn, which was last turn of the game and I picked off three warriors to get one additional pint for the extra two warriors, one point for killing the full unit and a bonus two points as I now had four units to his three.

Very close and I think only third time I have actually managed to take em out.

Couple of good games, two draws and a defeat, this is an improvement it has to be said, starting to get the hang of these guys and adding a bit more paint probably helped.

have now got the bases and weathering finished on the rest as well.

just need to work out what to use to get them about the current 4 points, pondering some Cavalry and a few more levies, all good stuff, likely to order in a few weeks

Like the angry Saxons the size of your units makes it hard to kill a unit even with a couple of rounds of combat.

liking that about them, they are very dependent on the dice to be able to do much back though, so not that well disciplined which fits.

wondering on some cavalry for them
