Thanks for the game Dale. Was fun and am actually looking forward to getting some more games of 40k in. I should be able to jump up to 1000 pretty soon. I'll let you know when I do.

No probs, happy to run at 750, or pretty much any oddball level.

We both turned up. Put some little plastic men on the table, rolled some dice, drew some cards and at the end of it all I won.
Very strange night if I'm been honest.

If you want to win a game I could dig out my bolt action. We could set up a table, throw some miniatures around for a couple of hours, then you can roll a dice and win.

Was an interesting little game to be honest, I expected by devastators to die first turn, and they survived all game without even being shot at, James expected his Falcon to die first turn, it survived as one of my tactical marines demonstrated while its called a [b]miss[]/b]ile launcher. My captain enjoyed himself cutting down Dire Avengers, who had in turn enjoyed themselves cutting down tactical marines. Turns out Guardians are pretty dangerous when you get close with that volume of S4 fire.

I could perhaps have sat back and outranged them but would have been a very dull game, besides the marines are part painted green so are incapable of not advancing, would probably have lost on VP trying that anyway.

Interesting game size as even with six objectives the cards for them didn't come up much and many of the others were not that easy to manage with such small forces.
