Team Yankee Megagame - 20th May, Gaming Garage - CANCELLED

Postby Old Longy » Mon Apr 24, 2017 7:40 am

Turn up from 10am. Try and get the game going by 11am. Break for lunch around 1-2 then hammer it home...

There's rumours of a pub crawl afterwards linked to someone's 50th...

Mission will be Free For all, with the change that each player will place on objective, and then one extra will be placed by the General of each side (so for instance, with 4 players per side there will be 5 objectives on each side of the board).

https://1drv.ms/i/s!Al29kD06hfQMg9xQzMaV2rbbFvvyUw

Play area will be 16ft x 6ft.

Pts will be around 100pts per player, depending on if we have matched sides or not. Limit to 2 formations per player to stop stupid things.

Player list:

NATO
James - Brits

WARPAC
Longy - East Germans (can swap to Americans if needed but suspect we will have loads of NATO players...)
Big Paul - Russians

Does it have Lasers or Templars?

Will confirm later but hope to be able to make this with the glorious forces of the red army.

Can cope with two formations (don't have the models for more...)

Any objections to swapping BDRM2 in place of BMP1 recce?

Will bring more points just in case, and because it's easier to bring the lot.

Would my 15mm terrain be useful?

No issues from me, that's what they did in the last tournament and it's how it's done in the EG book....

Sorted, terrain is enough for a 6x4 at a pretty high density, will do a fair bit more spread out a bit, western European feel, some pics up somewhere, roads, rivers, buildings, woods, swamps etc.

:)

Can't actually make this one. Just checked and that's the day my sister is planning on killing me.

On the bright side, no threat of wire guided dice flying around.

And a general reduction in NATO artillery and air defences... just as planned

Playing to the strongest and Lart/DBA on Sat with Graham and Dave so bring your little chaps.
You must have at least a DBA army on bases.
