You were missed as well Dale, I could have let you face Reese instead.

Did fluff a few things.

Had my T34 behind a wood, could have tried a blitz admittedly on a 5+. If failed could have stayed where I was or dropped smoke.
I actually just moved needing 6 and 7 to hit and didn't protect myself with smoke so started to die to accurate tiger fire, no armour save available.

Then got caught in an unwinnable shooting match, even closing to try to get side shots would have been better.
Also overlooked how much better medium mortars are, firepower 4+ rather than 6+.

Disgusted to see my beloved 120mm mortars are now only AT2 not 3 so can't even bail top armour 2 stuff.

did enjoy it though

Yes trying to find a way to add some AT3 or better to the inf may have helped.

Played a game last week attacking with 17 Sherman's and bunch of arty... against 2 tigers, marders, 8 panzer 4s.... I got wrecked.
