So then, who is up for this?

have two starters here, one nearly painted up, hopefully both by the weekend

Apparently the next wave is:

:british: Mosquito (not sure which one though)
:british: Hurricane

:german: FW190
:german: Me110

Rumours of a B-17 in the works and the model for a Defiant has been seen

Rules look simple enough, but the free downloads are the (very) basics, the advanced rules make this look a totally different game

Sisko seems out of place in a WW2 game
Does it have Lasers or Templars?

A curious obsession with crashing the back of a bomber into a fighter, it generally didn't end well

Until I can launch torps at US warships I'll hold off.

Seems legit, if they don’t bring in ground interactions they are missing a trick

Will have to bring GHQ micronaughts in again, don’t have the pacific stuff but it’s got a nice looking Midway campaign and handles flights of torpedo bombers and dive bombers nicely

Do have enough German and British to do anti shipping air strikes

It's intended to be an aerial combat game not part of a naval one. I had a game with Graham on Saturday and really enjoyed it. The rules are straight forward but the tactics are quite complex, trying to get the advantage on your opponent's plane so you can have a shot at it. I'm hoping to get another game on Saturday using the advanced rules.

Will be bringing it in Saturday, should have some of it painted up by then

adding a ground element wouldn't be hard, mark a target, line up on it, full turn of straight and level movement - possibly "disadvantaged" as you are flying straight and level, dice for the attack at the end of it - in effect abstract it into a ground attack run making the aircraft more exposed.

Looks fun though as is, certainly looks like having a wingman will help, set the target up better
