You can be our emperors champion, round one you lose, then murder the opposition and Jancos win by default.

Looks like there’s 8 of us available. I’ll let him know we’re good for 6th may and get something formalised about what missions etc.
currently playing Kings of War, Zombicide Black Plague, Rum and Bones, Batman, Marvel

That would be the smart thing to do.
Still avoiding playing 40k with the index Deathwatch as I'm fed up of wanting the murder everyone before I get my second turn, and that's putting it politely.

New codex soon!

But surely you should be pretending otherwise to motivate Baldie to turn up?

After giving it some thought I have decided that it would be a bad idea for me to go to this.
Im not enjoying the game or how it's making me feel and I doubt a new codex is going to change it.

Which is fair enough, have you thought of giving 30k a whirl?

I.e. the last edition, with the rules tidied up a bit, a largely marines v marines feel so a lot of the crap imbalance is removed then the formation "tricks" also removed as you have one FOC with an optional single allied FOC if points permit, Lords of War limited to larger games etc?

don't think there is a specific Deathwatch force for it, but would be exceedingly easy to simulate by allowing them to pick any of the rites of war they want (basically a chapter tactic, except most have force requirements attached and typically modify the FOC in some way)

That and the 7th Deathwatch rules would likely port over directly anyway

Or stick with Armada, sell some 40k and get Legion ;-)
Does it have Lasers or Templars?

Do we have any guide yet on scenarios and scoring for this?

I gather the beta rules for Smite are in place, plus something close to the beta character targeting rules?
