Watched a great docufilm about one of the youngest Spitfire pilots to fight in the Battle of Britain.
He survived and was told he needed to rest so they sent him to Malta where he also survived but had a total nervous breakdown.
As I couldn't stop thinking about my tiny planes I decided to make a start on em.
On the go are
6 x Messerschmitt BF-109's
4 x Stukas, for those who do em good luck with the individual undercarriage wheels
3 x Heinkel bombers
6 x lavochkin fighters
6 x Yakovlev fighters
4 x Ilyushin bombers
Magnetising em all so they can be stuck onto and removed from flight stands so the same stands can be used for different flights.
After ammount of fingertip skin I have now lost I am thinking Dales stands drilled into the plane would have been a better idea.
Poss get a bit of paint on em tomorrow.
Reading the BTH rules you will not be surprised that if you use the random pilot skip level rules the Russian table generates a fair chance of being a sprog. Fortunately I have two or three sprogs for each of your cannon shells.
