Incomplete masterpieces, what are you currently working on?

Interesting. Last time I tried airbrushing metallics it looked like a glitter bomb had gone off.

The metallic black has that sort of 'ooohhhh sparkles' look, but the aluminium and the throne are really smooth.

I'd get a few more of them if I had an need, well this is me, will probably get some anyway.

Not tired a varnish over though as yet, tried over the aluminium one on a P-47 and it went horrible, like it repels water, so thinking of a Tamiya alcohol based varnish and trying that.

They look great, looks like car paint with that bit of shine.

First test models for my Antares Concord, the green isn't all I had hoped for but its growing on me.

Bases to dry brush and essentially done, simple and quick paint job, added the red just to break it up a bit.

As with the Ghar this is a zenith highlight, the backs and lower areas are much darker, like a muppet I took the pics from exactly the wrong angle to show it.

Thought it had a suitably sinister look to it, aimed for a cheesy 1970's/1980's BBC budget sic-fi look

Bin playing...

Got hold of some of the old "links" moulds, which despite being designed for various plasters work nicely with resin. Ok they are 20mm scale so a bit big, my excuse being buildings come in all sorts of sizes and they look not too unreasonable.

The little house above is really just a test cast, will need to make a few more moulds so the bits you actually need and use I have more of and the ones I couldn't care less about fewer of.

To say they only arrived yesterday though, not bad, have a couple more on order for more styles of doors and windows, plus a nice archway and different roof tiles. Oh yes and some ridge tiles, which the house is currently missing.

Also unlike the originals I've made the roof removable, goes together in seconds with superglue, though sadly the range lacks floor tiles so may have to do a bit of customisation here and there to make something suitable.

The aim is to be able to turn out a cityscape for 15mm games, mostly FoW and TY.

Oh yes, speaking of TY, Gophers now more or less finished, just waiting the mud

Simple enough to paint but it adds a lot to them doing it.
