They probably meant a gas tank or something... :-)
Does it have Lasers or Templars?

Ahhh, didn't think of that, was wondering if it was the inside of a fishtanks, after the fish have died.

Few random WiP shots.

First up, the Ghar from the Antares boxed set

Image

Needs the light effects doing, but you can see where the blue/white lights will come from, then needs an oil wash to black line it, or more likely dark brown line it. Pretty basic but serviceable paint job, bar the blue and black base which will be gem stones had these done to this state last night.

Next up, something different,

Image

Zulu warband, or two war bands if you're not too fussed on the depth, on 2p coins as they need a bit more space than the others and gives them a bit more of a rabble feel, the blanks are to allow 30 models to stand in for 36, hence the box I have able to do four of these war bands.

And you can;t have Zulus without these guys

Image

First half of a unit, or more likely three 'tiny' units in their own right.

All three are Warlord models, the British from Africa have Empress miniatures command models in the box, and very nice they are too. Just hope they don't look behind them

LOL

the only bit I did today was the blue and black dots, they were otherwise as is last night, base colour was a panzer grey primer, left for an hour then four colours with the airbrush and the yellow detail, didn't take long at all

More on the Ghar.

Coupler of bomber suits

With command suits to form two small units, or just pool with the rest of them

Command Crawler, nice model this, legs were pinned without even trying assembling without.

These few (only) have the black lining and lenses painted which makes them look a lot better, plus the somewhat basic but functional bases.

Model air, metalic black base, then layering gun metal, aluminium and finally chrome, air brush zenith highlighting. Takes seconds, with the black lining it works, without looks toylike.

Very happy with how the came out here
