Looks good to me, only suggestion would be a few 'low ridges' or similar for the more open areas but the feel of it is very nice, should be good to play on as well :)

Just need to work out where to put the sewers.

Def hard with 28mm to get a hill big enough to block line of sight without it just looking like a big lump of rock.

You must have seen star wars... so make them lumps of rock, nothing like a bit of a canyon here and there... Even add a few random cave entrances here and there, you know, just in case.

hills at 28mm should be represented by putting a book under two of the table legs, anything steeper needs to be a more serious obstacle anyway.

Was more thinking meandering dunes though, not blocking but a bit of cover, ref low ridges of polystyrene or papermache on a bit of a base - sand dunes would really set that table off.
