MDF kits

Got some mdf house kits on the way, first I've ever done. What is optimal way to fix them? Wood glue? Super glue? Thanks

decent PVA wood glue works, but you need something to hold them while they set. Superglue with an accelerator can work apparently but not tried it.
Personally I use Bostick or a similar contact type adhesive for speed, not had one fall apart yet.
usually not that much of a load on it, PVA is probably best if you have the time to hold a joint for a few minutes and can be the best for larger parts as you get time to slide stuff about before it grabs which is good for assembling larger walls and similar - its also the easiest to clean up when it goes where you don't want it.
does take longer to cure fully though, if you leave overnight before painting not a problem though.

A few ww2 European houses. 3 damaged shops and 4 town houses from TTcombat off eBay and a single townhouse from another seller to try out.

if they are 15mm should find PVA works well, many of mine are, I switched to bostick for later ones as I'm impatient...
if you want the interiors painting it can be worth doing them before assembly, indeed the bulk of the exterior prior to assembly can work very well.
spray primers and then emulsion match pots work wonders

When painting the mdf roofs you lose the tiled effect i guess?

Tiles are cut in so painting is generally fine, easy way: paint a suitable red or grey, gloss varnish, black oil wash, leave to dry for a day and rub off with kitchen roll, leave a week and Matt varnish it
Slow way is paint it a darker red or grey then paint lower bits of tiles in s lighter colour, takes a while but looks good
Or just cover in plastic sheet with embossed tiles, paint and drybrush
