Need to dig the books out and see what the lists look like, but no rush as this lot needs paint first, least they are all actually assembled now. even if the paint has got no further than it did in 2015...

If I can get some filler this week I'll try to have them primed and the basic colours done reasonably soon, they are not the quickest models to paint as they are layered not blocked & washed, but its not too bad as they are pretty simple.

Just need to remember the method I used on the skin..

Progress!

Two units of medium archers completed

Not as colourful as the rest as they have no obvious plate armour to paint bronze, thinking some coloured panels may brighten them up a bit

They look great so effective all lined up like that. Are their feet supposed to be buried in the sand?

Perhaps not quite as much as some of them are, up close the toes can be seen

On some of them...

Tempting to put a sandcastle on one base somewhere and see who notices it

Love it they look very nice and the bases are great. I'm really really coming round to how 15mm look once done and based

Just a few lines or Yellow, Red, Blue or Green on the head dress or bottom of your girly skirts.
They are gonna look a great force together.

Must get one of mine finished rather than bits of them all

I'm thinking the heavier cloth should really be a different colour to the white cloth (i.e. the padded bits), wondering if a diluted ink wash in a brown would do it. Warlord have a few pictures with stripy headdresses in blues and reds which would not be too hard to do.

Think they only need something as they lack metal armour so just look unfinished.

Will have a think.

Trying to paint in whole units, or two at a time at least, used to doing FoW platoon by platoon so its about the same

Tweaktastic...

Added a bit of Magic Blue, cloth and a line on the headdress (which I did first, but you can't really see it)

Needs a wash but they look a lot better for it
