Some shoddy painting but great basing on these guys. Top job BP as ever.

Really want to do some terrain now.

Cains Russian / Canadian / French with Indian allies and some British for good measure.

Would work with black powder as well, or many other games, look good :)

They look top...thought my painting would spoil your bases :D good stuff ..artillery piece next?
...then a farm...town..ships...this is why different systems are no good for my OCD :D

My Brits are not exactly the right period but not a million miles off for AWI, group based and not a full regiment as yet..,

How does this one play? Skirmish? How many models etc?

23 models is the starter set and most games will be 40-60 at most.

Skirmish game using cards to decide which units get to activate and on which side, random event cards and turn end cards.

Really good game.

I agree with Lee. Its a very good game with lots of period flavour. You can get a good game with just a starter set.

I've just finished off some colonists. Several scenarios include civvies.

So Lee when are you dastardly French going to take on my heroic rangers and provincials?
