Stayed with the non-metallic metal look and layering of the colours, to be honest its not that hard to do, especially on chainmail armour - prime black, dry brush German grey, lighter dry brush London grey and um.. done.

just need to find the box the mahoosive bottle of PVA is lurking in and I can get the bases done
