Don’t have enough bows as yet, but sure I can sort something to replace them, nice to know it will be usable though

Need to build up a bit of a larger force but it looks interesting, I gather DBMM goes a bit further with the morale rules, frankly the one game I played I hadn't a clue what was going on with all that side of it

New toys arrived, have based the infantry and made a start painting them, picked up some glue tonight so I can stick the rest of the knights to wooden sticks for painting which will allow me to paint up the second commander.
Should in the near future have 8 stands of heavy spearmen, actual Normans this time not the Frankish ones I've been using up until now and these look better and shortly after four stands of dismounted knights. Thus 8x 4Sp and 4x 4Bd, provides four units of spears for Lart, which IIRC is the required minimum and some blades to swap out in DBA for IIRC three of the mounted knight stands.
Aim is to get these all done then next month get a similar order with another eight stands of knights, a third commander and 8 stands of bowmen.
Unit sizes being driven by the pack sizes Essex supply stuff in (four cavalry, thus three packs make four stands, eight infantry thus two stands of four, or with three per base three packs making eight)

8 stands of spearmen done*, 4 stands of dismounted knights just needing varnish. 4 stands of knights and a command stand started, 1 stand of allied Breton cavalry not too far off - not overly usable currently but hey they are nice models.
* static grass not included!
