A place for your armies to call home

Hail Caesar, unwashed general horde/ancient Brits.

Start of my HC army.
Commander bases, four big blocks of warband, three of skirmish troops with javelins, one with bows, chariots, light cavalry and a small unit of slingers.
Need to get a few more slingers, light cavalry and a few more chariots and that should do to start with.

Will 2015 see any paint added?

Dwarfs my lot...

Looks good though, still prefer steel bases.

As for paint.. sure they will, you must have some primer somewhere. :)

Surely that means your watching either 302 or 600?

Start of my Ancient Briton force, this is the first warband out of the four I have so far.
Happy enough with them as I did em all tonight, may have used too much yellow.

Edited now I have done some highlighting, thought I could get away with it.

They are based for DBA as me and my chums are using that for our basing standard.
2 bases x 2 bases is standard unit
3 bases x 3 bases is a large unit
2 bases is a small unit
1 base is a tiny unit

They will be Britons, Gauls, Germans and general barbarian types.
As is the way of Team Janco we are all doing forces separated by a couple of thousand years and a few thousand miles rather than ones that would normally face each other.
That said I am also going to do an Early Imperial Roman army as well.
