Updates!

New additions first

Image
HMS Ark Royal

Image
Fairey Fulmar, Fighters/light bombers

Image
Fairey Swordfish, Torpedo bombers

And a few you have seen before, but now on new bases suitable for GHQ's Micronaughts game

Image
HMS Hood, technically not actually a "Hood" class battlecruiser, but since the others of the class were cancelled she's the only one of them built.

HMS Prince of Wales

There are a couple more still to re-base, piccies when they are done.

The roundels are fun to paint at this size.. Sod is you should be able to see the life jackets on the swordfish crew...

May save that for another day though..

Following rumours of some more German units and signs of Luftwaffe activity the fleet has allocated a few more resources to keep Gerry in line.

HMS Edinburgh (light cruiser, but a big one) has entered service and some additional air units have been commissioned:

Fleet Air Arm
:british: 4x Walrus spotter planes
:british: 14x Fulmar fighter/fighter-bombers
:british: 12x Swordfish torpedo bombers

Royal Air Force
:british: 9x Mk1 Spitfire
:british: 9x Mk1 Hurricane

some of the units are still working up but will all be in service shortly..

Now.. where did Gerry end up...

Plan is to be up mid - late November, will have these finished by then and they will be with me.

Also hope to have done a couple of dry runs through the air system rules so may not be as clueless as usual..

A hollow laughing sound...

As with Gerry we have a few more flying machines for the RAF to fend off and mangle the enemy hordes:

:british: 2x Lancaster Bombers
:british: 2x Wellington Bombers
:british: 4x Mosquito Bombers

Can take the fight to the hun now..
