ECW

A place for your armies to call home

ECW

Keen to get the EAP force done first but then fancy having a crack at a DBA/DBR/HoTT English Civil War force.
Got a big chunk of 15mm Museum miniatures figs and some buildings to get started on.

May take a while to get to a full army but 12 stands cant be that hard right?

Thinking

Cav General
Cav
4 x Shotte
2 x Pike
2 x Foot dragoon, Psiloi
2 x Mounted Dragoon, Light Horse

Looks a little light on Pike and Shotte and no artillery for now.

See where it grows from there. Think big battle DBA with 24 elements is the way forward on a 3x3 or 4x4 table until enough forces are done for another rule set.

Next set would be
4 x Shotte
2 x Pike
2 x Artillery
2 x Cav
2 x Dragoons

Just need some opponents now but I expect none is interested in anything like this at all.
Could be a bit dull.

Certainly interested have ECW in 28mm, 15mm shouldn’t be too hard

Just need a painting table back first

Do like the ECW but do not like the format (dba). Plus have way too much on my plate at the mo def don't need another system/army/project on the go (he says)

once you have 15mm troops, or heck any other scale really, there are plenty of rule sets though

now the second issue is somewhat harder to work around ;)
