Thanks to an early morning call from work I have two units of Bows inked up ready for some highlights, I know there is no point but I like to do it so am sticking with it.
Then onto the LH units.

Just trying to keep my motivation up.
It is difficult when swats like Dale can crack off a legion or two before breakfast.

Also looked at LAP list as I don't need to do as many foot troops.

Nearly there at 290 odd points

Commander
Average

Persian Cav
Colonist Cav
Colonist Cav
Light Cav Jav
Light Cav Jav
Light Cav Jav
Light Cav Jav
Light Cav Bow
Light Cav Bow
Guard Inf
Persian Archers, should be light bow rather than bow but they are actually my second rank Sparabara so will do as subs

Comes to 290 if I get another unit of Cav done to use as Guards Cav I can get to 320. Will get them on the painting table next.

So in theory should have a 300 point plus force ready and based by end of the week.

Seriously thinking of getting some Celts as well.
Should promise myself I won't until Persia is completed.

My Rapier order finally arrived got some Cataphracts to play the part of Persian guard cavalry, slingers, hoplites and some sythed chariots so I can play around with Early and Late Persian lists.

Just started on the sanding for mine.

Really hard to get it between the lines of chaps, glad I decided not to do 4 ranks.

Rank spacing here determined by the size of a nozzle on the superglue I use
