They are taking a while, but have another 12 of them not too far off finished, just highlighting the blacks and adding the buttons to do now.

Need some more brushes, which will be grabbed next time I'm up there as those blue handled ones Colin has in are wonderful.

Been looking over the army lists and forums for Black Powder... Reckon you need three or four brigades to have a good game, which is fair enough. Each of them needs two infantry formations, so once the 83rd are finished I need at least five more

Should look jaw dropping on a table though.

Officers, as with the rest the bases still need doing.

Little bit more, another five warlord models

Not decided upon the regiment as yet, but green facings so they can be told from the others. Based on pennies as they fit nicely and let them act close together as well as skirmish. Here we have four line and one flank model.

Next up is a few Frenchies, priming to start tomorrow.

First few French now complete, just waiting varnishing

Next batch based and waiting primer, fun little models all in all, easy to build (most are in two parts), bit of flash to clean up though

Working on the next batch of French, will give me 28 models including a foot command group, just 14 more and that's the first box done, and enough to start actually using them

Just found, and ordered a couple of character models...

Sharpe, Harper, Harris & Hangman plus a couple more in named rifles & decals, think 35 rifles is probably enough for a small army of them :)

After a somewhat mad week in the orifice, and the utter mayhem of travelling about in Londinium today I'm working from home tomorrow...

Naturally this requires preparation, cider in the fridge, bit of space clear on the table for the laptop, toast for the rodent to pacify the little fuzzball, assembly of 14 more French including filler on the base to spray prime, digging out Japanese language homework to progress, sorting brushes out to paint models with..

Indeed given my job involves financial models I can safely say tomorrow much work on models will be undertaken...

:cow:

Hopefully by the end of the weekend will have the first box of Perry French finished, all 42 of them ready for a nice group picture, will try to get the British rebased as well then when up on the 18th can actually give Sharpe Practice a go if any one is interested...

28 painted, not all varnished though, 14 built waiting paint.

Also started to rebase the British onto individual bases
