Soul Reaver Cavalry

Had these sitting around unbuilt for quite a long time now. Even though I play Kings regularly I had zero motivation to get started on em but I forced myself. Was always going to be a quick job (my style  ) but once I got working on em they came together nice and quickly. These guys look mean and hit hard.

I like it, rolling lots of dice and charging things. I have absolutely no idea how to actually play it well though.

I doubt that really matters.

I liked the way you paint models and put them on the table, then for a while leave them there as opposed to simply removing them again

Did my first "multibase" with revanant cavalry, simply because I couldn't be arsed to paint another 5 to make a regiment. The pictures not great but there are two small broken walls and a small withered tree helping fill the space.

people have been doing that for years in warhammer, when you look to kings of war there really is little reason not to do stuff like this, actually think this done well looks better and a lot more dynamic than a rigid brick of models

Yes I think I rather agree. I have two regiments of these now, this one and then a solid block of ten, and I think this one looks better and uses half the models! It's actually gave me pause for thought of building a second army knowing that I could get away with much fewer models. Totally loving this game at the minute though.

Not played 2nd edition, I think I do own it but not sure (will be packed away anyway) but easily have enough models from warhammer to have a run at it.

Enjoyed V1

It's pretty great, even though I'm terrible at It!
