40k Imperial Soup
Posted: Tue Feb 13, 2018 3:04 pmSo, I've got a bunch of Imperial 40k stuff that i'm running as a multiple detachment list.
Last game I played against Longy I took a battalion of Guard, with a Supreme commander detachment of custodes and a vanguard of random (inquisition, assassin)
Worked quite well - the custodes gave me a bit of punch, although i'm not sure the Inquisitor was worth it, but he's in there for theme.
Theme & Background - Inquisitor and his posse of Scions are on the hunt for some Xenos filth, they've recruited some local gangers to bulk up their forces and act as bullet shields for the inquisition. 3 Shield captains are also hunting down some Xenos that escaped from the vaults on Terra - they just happen to be hunting the same things.
Going for a red/black look for the Inquisitor and his retinue, the escher gangers will be a bit more random, and the Custodes in black and gold.
