Pretty simple, primed then model air glorious gold, and polished gold as a highlight. VMC flesh wash, then dry brushed the lighter GW gold then the dry GW gold, a very slight highlight of the GW dry silver.

Blue is VMC Dark Prussian Blue highlighted Prussian Blue, silver and white are GW colours, textured paint on the base dry brushed a light grey and done.

Won't win any awards but perfectly serviceable for walking statues

I've got a bunch built and undercoated, not going to do them gold though, I'm going for a black/dark grey Armour I think

They would fit in well with your thousand sons

I did wonder on gold/red, especially that clear red for them but didn't in the end, just fancied something different - also can't see me doing more of them as I've got more than enough warhammer models painted (and unpainted for my sins) to play huge games of this.

Have seen some nice ones done in other colours, metallic green/gold also occurred but not sure it would have worked with the way they are.

Glossy black armour I think would suit them nicely, or even a terracotta look, golems

Got the chaos side more or less done, few details still to go but workable.

Cultist types

Liking how the red and the brass finish came out, these models are a lot nicer to work with than the sigmarines who just look like statues.
