Rich's Operation Cobra - FOW US

Postby RichG » Mon Jan 16, 2017 6:48 pm

Here is my Flames of War Army. I've decided to dust them off and play more games. I still have a few shermans to finish and the LMGs that come out of the tracks. but this is what i have so far. :D :usa:

More... i told the kids that Captain America has a special rule that you roll a dice before the game starts and on a 2+ you win the game. And he has a reroll. They believed me haha probably the only way i'll win a game!

Very nice, there are a few on the tournament circuit with captain America as a CiC, some get narked by it, but given the connection between FoW and history isn't overly solid anyway I think it adds character.

Thats a lot of M4s...

Thanks everyone for the comments. I made cap as a bit of a joke. I think he's one of the most boring marvel characters.

I bought some m4s and forgot about them and bought more then found them. Which is good if I want to run a tank company.

As for soviets I painted a strelkovy boxed set then decided to move to us after!

One box.. lightweight...

Comes to something when you probably have more armour for US than most Soviet players have.. At least I don't think I've got that many T-34...

I probably have that many panzers though

I've started to tart some of my army up. I thought the cupola looked weird with it being empty so i've put a dead yank in there.

I added a map to the staff team's table along with cans and a few sand bags to make it look a bit better.

I've been expanding my flames army and these 105mm Howitzers have seemingly taken ages to get finished.

i've also added some M10's
