BHGS Challenge 2015

Postby leopard » Sat Jun 20, 2015 10:07 am

Flames, mid war, 1,750

Have Haans with 2. Panzer and Bolokov with Strelkovy

Game one, my strelkovy against medium panzers attacking in "hasty attack", result: 6:1 to Bolokov, 20:0 TP as won by breaking the enemy...

IL-2 pilot for the win... Racking up two panzer 2 kills, 2 panzer 4 kills, plus two bails which broke the enemy.

Game two, Haans v mixed strelkovy in Dust Up. 2:5 defeat, managed to kill some BA-10 but got rolled by T-34 with KV2 watching from a safe distance. Only list one platoon though

Not cracked hunting soviet armour, just don't have that sweet spot of having enough shots that are good enough.

May just get a tiger list for giggles...

Game three, attacking fallshirmjeager in 'surrounded', went down 6:1, though the final score was at a time out...

Lots of casualties on both sides, lots of enemy on one or two teams...

Good game though, not sure on overnight standing but guessing 8th..

Onwards to Sunday

Was 8th overnight.

Game four, attacking panzers with Bolokovs bovver boys in fighting withdrawl... In a desert, not much cover

5:2 win, ZiS2 killed, going to drop them as being too fragile so an easy point for the enemy

Infiltration mixed with always attacks is wonderful

Final game, Bolokov again, free for all v grenadiers, could have played for a draw, but that's dull and the worst result by attacking is the same single point.

So we went for it

Spongebag...

6:1 defeat, still we tried

Strelkovy much better against armour, at least configured this way, thought needed.

Guessing 8th overall from 11, will see when the other games are done

Placed 7th in the end, no games that were 'hard work' though and all enjoyable:)

As long as you enjoy dying as much as you enjoy killing all is well.

Even when Bolokov won he had more dead... Indeed in one game he had more teams in one unit than the enemy had in total, indeed twice as many..

Worth it for the look on people's faces of horror, then despair as the second company comes out... Then the third..

Think I had one unit of 43 teams in a few fames
