First hunt of the season

Postby Baldie » Sun Apr 30, 2017 5:31 pm

Me and Scott went on our first car boot hunt of the year.

Never guess but I got some place mats, only to help out Scott as he wanted the coasters.
I also got a Star Wars space craft that is destined to join the chaos ranks.

Then for my final buy of the day I got a Christmas Tree, made of plastic and all the branches are made up of plastic bits that pop apart.
Based up a few as a test, the big ones will be for BA, Pulp Alley and 40K and the smaller ones are going to be used for epic.

The bits would actually not look out of place as a corn field

I ended up with a load of the smallest Really useful boxes to use as crates or epic buildings. I also got a tiger shark jaw and the small coasters baldie mentioned above.

hopefully find some more good stuff next time.

Actually some of the gang have already used aquarium plants to great effect.
No prizes for me using it as an idea first but I do have a blooming trees worth.

They look pretty decent as ferns, throw in a few tree trunks and you have woodland, alien plant life, jungle floor, anything really.
