Chill Con

So who's going? We're planning on making the day and picking up some goodies, hoping it's successful and can fill the hole left by Triples.

Quite a few traders, bring and buy, Kings of war + bolt action tourneys. Should be good day.

I think to be fair most of the players at the time would have preferred something like tiddlywinks and a few pints as well

Not a bad event to say it's the first they've put together. Come back with some a regiment of undead spears (£10!!) and a sweet looking necromancer for my KoW army. 3 75mm shermans and 1 76mm for my us flames of war. A box of 25 pounders for my British mid war. Some glue, paint brushes and bits. Gutted there wasn't any historical 15mm there though

Had a great day

Put on demo of Battle of La Rothiere
Russians, Austrians and Prussians vs French and some Swiss
Used Black Powder in 28mm scale, we left weapons range as per book but halved all movement to stretch game out a bit

Game played pretty much the same as real battle

French young guard, old guard and guard cavalry were tough as heck.

Will stick up a report tomorrow.

Dint buy owt, apart from a beer and a sarnie
