HI all, its Adam, Graham's son in law, Russian player of Flames and Dust

Hoping to be there with my Soviets, if not I am happy to send my kit down with Graham so some one can field a force.

I have available for a list:

11 x T34s
11 x 34/85s
9 or 10 SU85/85m/100 variants
5 x ISU 152/122 variants
5 x is2 tanks
8 x Katyoushas (can pay the points to count them as double)

I have other stuff too, but this is the really interesting stuff!!

I will post on here if I cant make it and people are fine to "claim" units to field in their soviet lists as they need them.

Are we using MW or LW lists?

Kursk was MW but if peeps struggle with MW lists let me know.

It will clearly never happen but we should try to do the war years, 1939 - 1945 fighting some battles as close to the real timeline as possible.

Poland, fall of France, Barbarossa, africa, Italy, Normandy & fall of Berlin.

Seven year plan

Can probably do MW or LW here, happy for either, planning to bring up my green tide stuff and do a list when up there.

Thinking, this needs to be Late War, couple of reasons:

:soviet: Eastern Front Tank lists for Soviets are written around the old Hens & Chicks rule and the whole lists are unbalanced with the new rules, only really hits the tank lists as no one takes Mid War soviets with armour & hens & chicks in other lists.

:german: Mid War you are going to need more points per German player if people want to run tiggers, and there is really only one Soviet list that can handle them mid war in the sort of numbers likely here.

Suggest using Grey Wolf & Red Bear (2nd) and running this late war, 2k per side, total war scenario (two objectives, capture one or break the enemy army by breaking more than half their companies, start 24" apart, table split in half randomly, objectives 24" back from the centre line to the back of the board. Recce companies etc arriving from reserves can arrive from any edge (will bring the book up anyway)

Georgy Zhukov, Vasily Chuikov, Vyacheslav Molotov, Joseph Stalin - Your boys took a hell of a beating.

My forces had to be mopped up rather than swept up, the war will go on.
