Flames of War - Kursk 43

Heard of an upcoming tournament or event that may be of interest to members of the club? Looking for a potential team?

Flames of War - Kursk 43

Suggest limiting this to the Red Bear/Grey Wolf books if updating to late war. The later stuff was all introduced long after the potential for such a clash had passed. Also the two books are decently balanced against each other...

Suggestions:
- Can bring any company as long as its a Tank Company, support need not be armoured or mechanised but the core must be a Tank Company
- 2,000 points, possibly higher since this will be armoured bodies for the bulk of it the forces should be reasonably small - Light tank companies can be huge but will be seriously out of their depth.
- Assume the battle is taking place between the defensive lines, so reasonably open terrain without static defences - use the Eastern Front terrain guides (open land, rolling gentle hills, streams, small settlements only, small clumps of trees)
- Use the "Total War" rules & Total War Scenario

Whos is up for it? and with what?

Can bring Germans with a few company options, but will be attempting a Soviet Tank force (gork help me).

Can happily do mid war or late war here, and should be able to run either German or Soviet in either.

Will leave it up to others which to go for

Is this on? if so when?

Thinking can bring Soviets up and do mid or late war pretty easily.
