Does anybody know of any one day fantasy tournaments (not at outpost) checked warhammer forum and can't see one in listings

Pennine Raiders in Halifax do a very friendly 1200 points tourney each year.
Bit far to go but Rushden do a great singles and doubles tourney.

Daz is your man for Fantasy tourneys.

Rusden is indeed a fantastic event, nuts scenarios though so can irritate some of the people who take this far too seriously. Great fun though, and I'm in for free next year... again...
